Art Direction & Decor Management working under creative director Roz Jellett between 2012 - 2020

The Trailer Park is a wacky, immersive WORLD created by Stage Designer and Art Director Roz Jellet of Emperor’s Robes and developed by Hugo Jellet and the wider Trailer Park crew.

Now in both Electric Picnic, Ireland and Latitutude UK it has become a world of graceful lunacy, with caravans that have been turned on their head, utilitarian mobile homes that have undergone surgery, vans re-functioned and campers converted.

Collectively they create a metropolis of tiny venues, interactive cultural outposts, fun-clinics and oddball theatres. It is anchored by the Trailer Park Stage, a mobile home complete with bedroom, kitchen, lavatory and lounge.. cheetah print wallpaper included.

I worked alongside Roz and Hugo - beginning as a decor assistant and babysitter in 2012 staying in their home in Laois and gradually taking on more responsibility and creative input, managing the decor team and caravan competition up until covid in 2020.

Trailer Park and working with Roz from such a young age has been my biggest inspiration for my current art practice.

Currently, I am a guest at Burning Man in Nevada, supporting the artists who install on the Man Structure which means Electric Picnic (where Trailer Park manifests) and Burning Man have a date clash.

However, Roz and Hugo remain huge inspiration to my practice and below are images of work I contributed to between 2012-2020 as part of their team.
